Work began on developing the site so it catered for an all-in-one slution for families, friends, businesses, partners as even those could be matched. For example people in business can match their ideas and possibly work with other Mauritians, utilizing their own Mauritian resources and talents. Friends can match themselves with other Mauritians from not only their own surrounding locations, but also other Mauritians worldwide. Singles can match themselves with potential partners. Families can match themselves with relations that are abroad and able to communicate without incurring expenses. Altogether Mauritians matching Mauritians for whatever reasons.

Feature Rich And Packed Full Of Services 

At present we have included a blog service, whereby a member can write any subject matter within their own unique blog space. We have included the events section, so that Mauritians from around the world can add Mauritian events and notify other members. We have provided a Family Tree so that families can start building their own tree and allow other relatives to add to that tree. We have provided a dedicated forum allowing members to express their views, opinions with open discussions and also as a resource from  which other Mauritians can learn and share in knowledge. We have developed a personal profile section that enables users to create their own unique profiles and upload photos / images so that they can introduce  themselves and be contacted by other members. We have also included online communications so that members can interact through the chat rooms, by requesting connections or by sending private messages to each other. We then connected and combined all these services and features within a registered members only access and provided it for FREE - with continued enhancements and upgrades.

How To Use Mauritian Match 

The first thing is to complete your Member Profile box by adding as much or as little information as you wish. Your profile in many cases will be your first introduction to other members so it is worth spending some time in writing your profiles. Once your profiles have been completed, start using the others services by adding a blog entry about any subject of your choice. Then submit a post into the Forum, explore the site further and add contributions or comments to blogs and forum posts as you view the items. This activity and getting yourself involved in the site enables you to learn more of not only how to use the services and features, but how you are going to use this site. By placing these blogs and forum postings it also enables other members to make contributions and comments. As more and more members join they will find your articles of interest and they will start responding, commenting and communicating.

About The Founder

The founder of MauritianMatch.com was born in Port Louis, Mauritius in 1970. As a young boy and together with his parents, he spent his initial years living in various locations in Mauritius. The family lived in Morecellement, then Port Louis and finally in Riviere Des Anguilles. Nearing his 7th birthday, his family relocated to the United Kingdom, where he spent his remaining years, but always coming back and forth to Mauritius to pay visits to friends and families. In September 2007,  he decided to formulate a team dedicated towards developing, maintaining and further enhancing his vision for a complete online community dedicated towards the progress of all Mauritians worldwide.
