QUICK START GUIDE

STEP 1: Click on the "Your Profile Details" button, located on the left hand side under the "User Menu". You will be taken to your profile page, where your profile box at the bottom is currently empty.

STEP 2: Click on the "Edit" button, above the image on the main page and scroll down to the "Update Your Profile" button and click.

STEP 3: Complete your Member registration by clicking on the "Member" tab. Before entering your details, roll your mouse over the blue "i" icon, found to the right for information on filling the boxes. You do not need to refill your: First Name, Last Name, User Name, Email, Password, Verify Password and User Editor. Start from Address onwards.

NOTE: The information provided here within the Member tab, is solely for the purpose of MauritianMatch.com, it's functions and administration management. All information entered here will not be shared with any other third party, but is for our own records and operations of our service. Please keep the "Member" tab up-to-date, as all relevant information regarding your membership registration and contacts from other members, will be sent to these details. Make sure you maintain a valid email address.

STEP 4: On completion of the "Member" tab, click on the "Personal" tab and select your Country. You have now finished all the necessary Member registration requirements. To complete click on "Upgrade" at the bottom of the "Personal" profile tab. You will now return to your main Profile page.

STEP 5: To continue and add information to complete your profile, click on the "Edit" button and re-enter into "Update Your Profile".

STEP 6: At this stage do not enter anything within the "Forum Settings" tab, as you will come to this later when you start using the forum. But start from the "Personal" tab and complete your details with information for other members to view. Follow this process with your details and information across the tabs you chose to make active to your profile box. REMEMBER to click on "Upgrade" every 15 minutes, otherwise you will log-out of the site and will need to re-enter your details. This is due to the fact that the site is set to log-out after 20 minutes of inactivity as part of the Secure Web Optimization for security.

NOTE: Any information, which is left blank within any of the boxes within the tabs, will not appear on your profile details box on your main profile page. This is useful if you do not wish to disclose certain information to other members, such as; Your Name, Your Home Address, Telephone Number, Mobile Number etc.

STEP 7: Once you have completed the various tab sections, click on "Upgrade" at the bottom of the page. You will return to your profile page, where your profile box will be completed and you will be able to see how other members will view your profile.

You are now able to send and receive connection requests, send and receive private messages, browse through profiles and introduce yourself to other members.

To finalise don't forget to tell your friends and families about your profile at MauritianMatch.com and ask them to register also, so that you can start communicating with each other and Mauritians from around the world.
